What we do know, however, is that the average lifespan of women is increasing faster than that of men in the majority of countries all across the globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The average life expectancy in the United States for men is 73.5 years, while it is 79.3 years for women, according to a study by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchs\/fastats\/life-expectancy.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Centers for Disease Control and Prevention<\/a> published in December 2022. However, why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We asked doctors for more insight, as well as tips to help everyone increase their life expectancy. It seems that there are a number of factors that could be responsible for the fact that women live longer than men.
