These studies have encouraged doctors to perform more aggressive treatment of risk factors in women with AF.<\/p>\n<p>If you are a woman with any risk factors for heart disease and\/or who has been diagnosed with AF, be sure to schedule regular appointments with your cardiologist to prevent a medical emergency.
