Is your BMI (body mass index) healthy?

Over a third of American adults and about 17% of children are obese, according to the CDC. More specifically, 47.8% of African-American adults, 42.5% of Latino adults and 32.6% of white adults are obese.

Obesity is a serious condition which can cause heart disease, stroke and type 2 diabetes- a few of the leading causes of preventable death.

Obesity is an expensive problem, too. The United States spends $147 billion on obesity-related problems every year.
