Daily Heart Rate Per Step (DHRPS) is a new way to assess your heart health. You derive it by dividing your average daily heart rate by the number of steps you take each day. The higher the final number, the greater your risk of cardiovascular disease. DHRPS seems to be a stronger predictor of cardiovascular health than step count or heart rate alone, according to recent research published in the Journal of the American Heart Association.
