Anna Chon, PA, is a board-certified physician assistant through the NCCPA with a strong background in cardiology and a commitment to advancing patient education. She earned her degree from St. Bonaventure University and has contributed to research, including her publication Augmentation of Muscle Blood Flow by Ultrasound Cavitation Is Mediated by ATP and Purinergic Signaling. Anna’s path to becoming a PA was inspired by her passion for medicine, public health, and empowering patients through knowledge. Prior to PA school, she gained invaluable experience as a scribe at a large cardiology practice, working alongside specialists in general cardiology, heart failure, heart transplant, and interventional care. Her interest deepened during a cardiology rotation in a rural outpatient setting, which cemented her focus in the field. In her practice, Anna emphasizes a patient-centered approach that blends preventive care with education, helping individuals take an active role in their health. She defines patient care as the delivery of safe, compassionate, and evidence-based medicine tailored to each patient’s unique needs. By prioritizing health literacy, she strives to ensure patients are informed and confident in making decisions about their care and long-term well-being.
