COVID-19 is having a significant and long-lasting effect on the health of a lot of individuals. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as many as 41 percent of people who become sick with the virus end up with long-term COVID. This condition may involve respiratory, neurological, cardiovascular, and other symptoms that continue for weeks, months, or even years after the initial illness.
