The Common Mistake That Could Be Wreaking Havoc on Your Cholesterol

A new study by Harris Poll and the American Heart Association found that 70% of people who have had a heart attack or stroke did not know that LDL cholesterol is often called “bad cholesterol” because it causes fat to build up in the arteries. The study also found that 75 percent of people who had a heart attack or stroke had high LDL cholesterol, but only 49 percent made lowering it a top priority.
